Raffi Ahmad's Answer To The Strong Criticism Of Netizens Because He Did Not Participate In The Demonstration And Uploaded An Emergency Warning

JAKARTA - Celebrity Raffi Ahmad became the target of netizens after being considered not pro-people because he did not take to the streets to reject the Pilkada Bill like other artists.

Through one of the television programs he guided, Raffi explained that on that day he had to go to Bandung to help his younger brother who was running for the upcoming 2024 Pilkada.

Raffi also emphasized that the photo of his togetherness with Gibran Rakabuming and Zulkifli Hasan occurred because of an accident.

"When my friends were at the demonstration, I was in Bandung for business, right, my sister, also happened to want to run. Incidentally there was Mas Gibran, Mr. Zulfkifli Hasan, just coincidentally, but people were thinking strange things," said Raffi Ahmad, quoted by VOI from FYP Trans7, Tuesday, August 27.

The event to Bandung itself has become Raffi Ahmad's routine every weekend and indeed the event has been scheduled for a long time.

"It's been a long time (aligned). I do every weekend in West Bandung, all of you go home. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday I was there," added Raffi Ahmad.

Apart from being criticized for not taking to the streets, Raffi also got sprayed for not uploading the Emergency Warning symbol. For him, everyone has a different way to show concern for the condition of the state.

"Why don't you join the post? Everyone has different ways. It doesn't mean we don't join the demonstration, we don't voice the people, it doesn't mean we don't post, don't voice the people. Everyone has their own way," explained Raffi Ahmad.
