JAKARTA - Palari Films launched their first teaser for their latest film titled Ransom Sina. This film marked their first horror film after making several family-themed films.

The one-minute teaser features Happy Salma and Putri Marino in connection with a case linking the two of them. The teaser shows several mystery scenes that still result in the puzzle of their interaction.

Happy Salma looks for her missing child and meets Putri Marino who helps Happy. However, they must reveal the secret that causes the child's disappearance.

Directed by Yosep Anggi Noen, Ransom Sins tells the story of Wening (Happy Salma), a mother who experiences a tragic fate when her son, Nirmala, disappears after they had an accident. Wening's mother also died in the incident.

Then, Wening looked for Nirmala assisted by Tetsuya (Shogen), a Japanese researcher who was living in Wening village.

Wening also met a siniar creator named Tirta (Putri Marino) who helped. In the midst of her search, Wening felt haunted by her mother's spirit while her husband's dark secret began to be revealed one by one.

This film marks Happy Salma's latest collaboration with Palari Films after the film Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens. Meanwhile, Putri Marino collaborated with Palari after debuting in the film Possessive and Mist Berduri which was released this year.

Anggi Noen also wrote a screenplay with Alim Sudio and the film was produced by Muhammad Zaidy and Meiske Taurisia.
