JAKARTA - Former manager of Fujianti Utami Putri or Fuji, Batara Ageng was arrested by the police for being proven to have embezzled Fuji's money allegedly up to Rp1.3 billion. The money went into a personal account and was not given to Fuji as the holder of his rights.
"Batara was arrested for allegedly embezzling Fuji's funds," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Andri Kurniawan in his statement, Friday, July 5.
"Going into the account of the reported personal bank and the money was not reported and was not given to sister Fujianti Utami Putri. The total money is Rp. 1,312,997,100," he continued.
Fuji reported Batara to the police under the suspicion of Article 374 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 372 of the Criminal Code in September 2023.
"We have detained Batara. After we investigated the suspect, we detained him," he said.
