JAKARTA - Komika Marshel Widianto was appointed to become a candidate for deputy mayor of South Tangerang through the Gerindra party. This was conveyed directly by the Daily Chairperson of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.

Through his personal Instagram account, Sufmi Dasco declared Marshel Widianto's candidacy along with Banten Governor Candidate Andra Soni.

"On this occasion, I reiterated instructions that the Candidate for Governor of Banten, namely Andra Soni and the Candidate for Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang, namely Marshel Widianto," wrote Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, quoted by VOI from his personal Instagram, Friday, June 21.

Dasco also asked Gerindra cadres to win the candidate they promoted. This is so that the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka program can run well.

"We must solidly fight to win the candidates (regional heads) who will be promoted by the Gerindra Party throughout Banten Province, so that Prabowo-Gibran programs can be carried out properly in accordance with the directives," he said.
