Beomgyu TXT Injured, Absent At Paris Fashion Week

Beomgyu from K-pop group TXT reportedly took a temporary break due to a recent injury. The BIGHIT MUSIC agency announced the singer had to miss several activities.

Beomgyu visited the hospital with the injury she got after her latest activity, and she was diagnosed with a sprained ankle, the agency said today, Wednesday, June 19.

"According to medical staff advice, he needs adequate rest for a while, we ask fans for their understanding because it will be difficult for Beomgyu to participate," he said.

"He will be absent for several schedules including Paris Fashion Week," the agency said.

The agency confirmed that Beomgyu's health was a top priority. However, apart from Paris Fashion Week, the agency has not announced a schedule that Beomgyu does not attend.

TXT is scheduled to attend the Dior Men performance at Paris Fashion Week. The four members, namely Soobin, Yeonjun, Taehyun, and Hueningkai, were seen departing on the same day as the release of this announcement.

"Although the artist is very determined to participate in all schedules, we will prioritize the artist's medical advice and recovery in managing the schedule," the agency said.

In addition, TXT has just held their newest world tour, ACT: PROMISE. Starting from Seoul in early May, they will hold concerts on the Americas and Asia, including Indonesia.
