Mayweather And The Famous Rapper Fight Over Luxury Cars Worth IDR 37.5 Billion

JAKARTA - Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is involved in a bidding war with a 'high profile rapper' for a car worth £ 1.9 million (IDR 37.5 billion).

Mayweather, also known as 'Money Man', certainly does not lack money to buy this rare car.

The 44-year-old man has an estimated net worth of USD 450 million (IDR 6.4 trillion) and already has a car collection worth £ 20 million (IDR 395 billion).

But he faces a serious battle to add the 2009 Maybach 62S Landaulet to his VIP parking lot.

According to TMZ some time ago, the car was so rare that only eight were made, two of which belonged to music stars Drake and DJ Khaled.

Mayweather wanted to add his name to the illustrious list, but was involved in a bidding war with an unidentified 'famous rapper'.

The latest bid reached £ 1.4 million (IDR 27.6 billion). However, the bid was expected to increase because it was still ongoing.

The vice president of program management for Maybach, Hans-Dieter Multhaupt spoke about the car.

"Landaulet was for the super-rich individuals who want something really extraordinary and enjoy driving in a car with acres above them", Multhaupt said as quoted by the Daily Star, Monday, March 8.

Mayweather retired from boxing in 2015 but returned to the ring sensationally in 2017 to face UFC star, Conor McGregor.
