JAKARTA - A number of K-pop idols: SNSD Hyoyeon, Bomi APink, Dita Secret Number and Im Nayoung ex IOI were detained in Bali. The reason for their detention was because they shot without permission.

According to the SPOTV report, the four of them were detained with the crew from the Pick Me Trip in Bali event. They arrived in Bali on April 21 and plan to return home on April 25.

However, their departure from Bali was stopped after local authorities found them filming without permission. As a result, the passports of 30 individuals including crew and members were detained and they had to be in the hotel until the investigation was complete.

Reportedly the issue was related to visa management, but the members did not know why they were detained. So far they are waiting for the results of the investigation.

"They can contact the players but believe they can come back after the investigation," said a source from SPOTV.

They are in Bali, but the members don't know why they were detained. It's difficult for the production team not to share details about the situation," he continued.

KBS has also not been able to announce the broadcast date, but they also cannot confirm the problem in Bali.

"The program broadcast is not final yet," said the KBS.

"We have confirmed the program's content but it is still under consideration. It has not been confirmed. We have no connection with the production team filming in Bali," they said.

The Pick Me Trip in Bali event was originally projected to air in May 2024.
