Indonesia Corporate Sustainability Award 2024 Appreciates 55 Winners With Sustainability Initiative

JAKARTA - The annual Indonesia Corporate Sustainability Award 2024 was successfully held on November 21, 2024 at The Stones, Legian Bali. This event aims to appreciate companies that are committed to implementing the principle of sustainability, making a significant contribution to Indonesia's development. With the theme "Advancing Resilience through Sustainable Innovation", this award is a tangible manifestation of support for sustainable transformation in various sectors, especially corporations.

This award selection process involves stages of document evaluation and pitching sessions with 315 sustainability initiatives received from various companies. A total of 55 of the best award recipients were selected through strict assessments by expert judges in various sectors. The winners are divided into 11 categories, reflecting the company's success in implementing the best sustainable practice in Indonesia.

Unggul Ananta, Co-Founder & CEO of Olahkarsa, saw the extraordinary enthusiasm of industry players in realizing sustainability in Indonesia.

"The number of 315 paper that is included is clear evidence that companies in Indonesia continue to grow and are committed to integrating the principle of sustainability in their business strategy. Hopefully this award will not only be a place of appreciation, but also be able to motivate more industry players to innovate and create a wider positive impact," explained Unggul, in a written statement, Sunday, November 24.

In the special session of the Gala Night & Awarding Ceremony, Katharine Grace, the General Chair of the Indonesia Corporate Secretary Association, expressed her hopes.

"Those who are present tonight are the elected ones, who have become leaders in carrying out sustainability initiatives. We must be able to maintain the company's ability to address issues related to the environment, social, and governance, so that we can maintain economic value and manage risks well. Hopefully in the future the company can continue to make progress but still save the earth," he explained.

Indah Budiani, Executive Director of IBCSD, in the same session conveyed her impression during the judging process.

"In this judging, there are two things that stand out, the first is innovation and the second is collaboration. Strong collaboration and fair, transparent, and efficient governance are the foundations of sustainable sustainability. This synergy allows the achievement of optimal results while creating a comprehensive positive impact," he said.
