Margot Robbie Was Injured While Filming A Sex Scene In 'The Wolf Of Wall Street'

JAKARTA - Margot Robbie's career took off after playing Naomi Lapaglia in The Wolf of Wall Street. However, the Australian actress revealed that the filming was not all smooth sailing. In fact, she suffered an injury while filming a sex scene.

In the film directed by Martin Scorsese, Robbie's character has sex with Jordan, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, on a bed full of cash. At that time, Robbie suffered a back injury.

Robbie then revealed, shooting sex scenes is not as easy as many people imagine.

"It doesn't appear like you are watching a movie", Robbie told Porter magazine reported by MARCA, Tuesday, February 23.

"But, the reality is we are in a small bedroom with a crew of 30 crammed. All of them were men".

"For 17 hours I pretended to touch myself. That's a very strange thing and you have to bury shame and absurdity, be completely deep, and fully committed."

Robbie also revealed in another interview that he prepares himself before doing some sex scenes by drinking tequila first.

"I was going to work that morning, and I was shaking", she told the New York Times.

"Very scared, like 'I can't do this'".

Robbie then downed three glasses of tequila and then took off her clothes.

She did the sex scene and she was fine.

"(Tequila) really helped stop my hands from shaking and gave me a little confidence", she said.
