Eating Roti And Kuah, Rhea Chakraborty Reveals His Experience Of Recording In Prison For 28 Days

JAKARTA - Rhea Chakraborty revealed that she was in prison after being found guilty of the death of actor and lover, Sushant Singh Rajput. He is said to have given medicine to the actor and was released on bail.

Recently, Chakraborty opened his voice when he was imprisoned where he was physically and mentally traumatized. Speaking toctionan Bhagat, he felt chased by many after Sushant's death and wanted to prove the truth by being imprisoned.

It feels like my life is a display. I feel like I want to stop but I think let me go to prison, said Rhea Chakraborty in Deep Talk with Kalimantan Bhagat.

Many people are chasing me, my whereabouts are not okay. I chose everything to be clarified, even if that means I have to be imprisoned," he continued.

Rhea Chakraborty was jailed in 2020 when the world was still hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. He spent his first 14 days in a different prison than any other prisoner.

"Because of the COVID-19 rules, I had to be there for 14 days. I was alone in the room. I was asked if I had eaten. I was very hungry and tired so I ate whatever was given to me," he said.

Officers gave him bread and vegetable soup while in detention. Initially, he found it difficult to rest because the toilets in the cells were very dirty. However, he tried to hold it with greater mental trauma.

The people inside are better than outside because there is no social structure in prison. A different world. I started to feel grateful when I saw a lot of inmates who didn't have family support," Chakraborty said.

They also don't have money for collateral. At least, I have friends and family. I told myself. You will get justice. You will get a guarantee. You are innocent. I learned a lot there, why should I complain about what is not my control? " he said.

"You had breakfast at 6 am, lunch at 11 p.m. and dinner at 2 p.m. But I changed my diet. I started waking up at 4 a.m. and finished dinner at 2 p.m.," he said.

Rhea Chakraborty was released after 28 days in prison.
