Fighting Against COVID-19, Ashanty Uploads The Figure Of Her Grandfather Who Is A Fighter

JAKARTA - Ashanty is currently battling COVID-19. After announcing their exposure to COVID-19, Ashanty, Aurel, Azriel, and Arsy went into independent isolation. Despite adhering to health protocols, apparently there is still a gap for them to catch.

Previously, he admitted to routine PCR tests because he had a congenital disease. Anang Hermansyah's wife knew that she had autoimmune since 2018. As is well known, people who have congenital diseases have a greater risk if exposed to COVID-19.

Sunday, February 14th, Ashanty experienced chills, flu, cough, high fever, and shortness of breath as initial symptoms. Tuesday afternoon, Azriel uploaded a photo of his mother lying in bed with a breathing apparatus on her nose. Ashanty looks asleep wearing a black hijab.

In the midst of his struggle, the Instagram account @ashanty_ash re-uploaded a post about his grandfather's figure. Through insta story, Ashanty wants to reintroduce her grandfather's struggle.

"Tanah Rejang is the land of their ancestors and his grandfather Prof. Dr. H Abdullah Siddik is the author of the rejang adat law book published by Balai Pustaka in 1980. Datuk Prof. Dr. H Abdullah Siddik., SH was born in Muara Aman, Bengkulu on 13 June 1913, came from a noble family of royal descent "in their ancestral land," uploaded the @rejanglebongterkini account which was reposted by Ashanty.

Ashanty's family was not among ordinary people. Ashanty's grandfather, Prof. DR. KH Abdullah Siddik SH, who was a diplomat during the Soekarno administration. The grandfather also often accompanied President Soekarno.

Datuk Prof. Dr. H Abdullah Siddik., SH was born in Muara Aman, Bengkulu on June 13, 1913. He was active in the Jong Islamietan Bond with Agus Salim. Abdullah Siddik has served as Chairman of the High Court of South Sumatra. In addition, he also serves as the Indonesian Military Court with the rank of Colonel.

Prof. Dr. H Abdullah Siddik., SH began his career as a diplomat in 1950-1960. His career started in Cairo Egypt, Manila Philippines. Subsequently he became Ambassador Extraordinary and Minister in full power in Bangkok, Thailand to lead the Indonesian delegation at the UNECAFE Conference (United Nations Economic Commission for Asia and Far East).

Ashanty's grandfather was also the Indonesian Ambassador to Rangoon Burma. Hopefully Grandpa's fighting spirit can encourage Ashanty to fight COVID-19.
