Meet 10 Color Trends At New York Fashion Week Fall / Winter 2021

JAKARTA - Every season in the fashion festival always has a unique character. Including this year's New York Fashion Week. Launching the schedule release from NYFW, the show for the Fall / Winter 2021 session will take place from February 14 to 18.

Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, explained that pragmatic colors combined with bright and vivid colors became icons in the Fall / Winter 2021/2022. The color supports a lifestyle and gives the spirit of revival.

Here are ten lists of trending colors at international fashion week that can embrace serenity and hope while accommodating unique personal expressions.

Mykonos blue: a fresh and refreshing blue color reminiscent of the Aegean. Illuminating: not only yellow symbolizes optimism and openness, but also Ultimate Gray. Fuchsia Fedora: vivid colors in bold pink that Eiseman thinks are needed now more than ever. Leprechaun: this color evokes all things Ireland, the outdoors, and the fun side of nature. Pale Rosette: a charming, soft, romantic pink color that makes it cozy. Adobe 17: This color is similar to that of sun dried clay. This color also reminds of a place visited at the right time, namely the desert or New Mexico. Fire Whirl: a color that signifies joy. Rhodonite: a soothing bluish purple color. Spring lake: a soothing middle tone blue. Root Beer: brown, the color that recalls nature's memories.

Besides the ten color trends above, there are still coconut cream, soybean, ultimate gray, and olive branches whose inspiration is not far from the natural landscape.

Jason Wu, for example, started New York Fashion Week with the concept of a 1950s farmer-owned shop. The show features thousands of items, such as fresh food and vegetables. In the show, Jason Wu put on a live show.
