Canceling Marriage, Ayu Ting Ting Admits That She Has No Regrets

JAKARTA - Ayu Ting Ting uploaded a video clarifying the reasons for the cancellation of the marriage with Adit Jayusman on the YouTube channel Qiss You TV on Sunday, February 14. Ayu reiterated that the reason for her marriage was not because the dowry was too big.

"I canceled the wedding, he said, because the dowry was large, I have to explain, I have to emphasize that this is not true at all," said Ayu.

Ayu explained that if the dowry was the reason, of course the wedding preparations would not be done in a big way. "If we use common sense, logically, dowry and submission must be discussed at the beginning, before moving further into the marriage ladder. And that too is definitely agreed upon by both parties. So it seems impossible because of the big dowry issue," he said.

Although he did not clearly state the reason for the cancellation of the marriage, Ayu gave a signal that the blessing of the Adit family had not yet been pocketed. Ayu implicitly reveals that the root of the problem is Ayu and Adit's family who cannot be united.
