JAKARTA - The production house DMILASTY Pictures with Putaar Film held the Gala Premiere Film Miss Manis Sayange, starring Haico Van Der Veken and Prince Lantang, which will hit Indonesian cinemas on November 2, 2023.

This comedy drama genre film tells the story of a love story between Sika, a Bajo girl, and Akram, a young man from outside Labuan Bajo.

In addition to presenting cultural stories in Labuan Bajo, the film, directed by Hestu Saputra, also presents a landscape of natural beauty there.

Places that describe the natural beauty of Labuan Bajo, will spoil the eyes of viewers of the film Miss Sweet Sayange Apart from Haico Van Der Veken and Prince Lantang, this film also stars Bhisma Mulia, Mathias Muchus, Luiz Victoria, Totos Rasiti and Chanceline.

DMILASTY Pictures producer Miranda Putri admitted that she had given her best to present the film Miss Manis Sayange to the audience of Indonesian films.

"Through the film Miss Sweet Sayange, we can see firsthand the natural beauty of Labuan Bajo, including Bukit Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Rinca Island and even the Viral Loccal Collection Hotel. In addition, the film also presents the beauty of underwater nature in Labuan Bajo which is exotic. Hopefully this film can be well received by the audience and can be a spectacle that can spoil the eyes of the natural beauty of Labuan Bajo," said Miranda Putri, quoted on Saturday, October 28.

The director of the film Miss Manis Sayange, Hestu Saputra, said she was happy because her wish has been achieved through this film.

"I am very impressed with the natural beauty of Labuan Bajo. I have never seen a place like this before. Frankly, I did not find it difficult to shoot this film. I hope Miss Sweet Sayang can be the most beautiful film this year," explained Hestu Saputra.

Playing the character Sika, Haico Van Der Veken was impressed during the shooting process for this film.

"I am very impressed with the natural beauty of Labuan Bajo. Not only landed, Labuan Bajo underwater solids are also extraordinary. When I dive in Labuan Bajo waters. I can see various kinds of beautiful fish and coral reefs. I am really fascinated by the beauty of the underwater Labuan," said Haico Van Der Veken.

The same thing was also conveyed by Haico's co-star, Prince Lantang who played the character Akram in this film.

"One of the things I like the most about this film is to show the beauty of Labuah Bajo's nature as a whole. When shooting on the Padar hill, I think the view is really Beautiful. Because, from there, I can see the beauty of Komodo Bay which is amazing," said Prince Lantang.
