JAKARTA - Awareness to maintain dental hygiene and health is important considering that dental problems can cause daily problems due to difficulty talking and eating, as well as a lot of pain.

Therefore, awareness of maintaining teeth will be better if it is instilled in children from an early age. The reason is, there are many bad effects on the health of the body if dental and oral care is not carried out consistently and as early as possible.

The EGGSPERIMENT method initiated by Formula Oral Care is one way to educate the public, especially elementary school students about the importance of maintaining dental and oral health.

This activity will be carried out in a number of cities in Indonesia by targeting more than 10,000 elementary school students.

Meanwhile, EGGSPERIMENT was carried out on September 12 at the Stella Maris School in Jakarta. At the same time commemorating National Dental Health Day (HKGN), students carried out dental cleansing activities together and experimental activities.

At this activity, Stella Maris School students were invited to do a simple trial using egg shells, vinegar solutions and containers.

Egg shells are soaked in vinegar solutions for a few moments. Then, there will soon be a difference between the well-treated eggshell and those that are not.

With similar calcium content between human teeth and egg shells, it will be seen how egg shells that have been soaked with toothpaste for several days will look better when soaked in vinegar solutions.

Responding to the experiment, drg. Dewi Widjaja as a dentist who often provides education on dental and oral health care for children really appreciates the way education is done.

The method introduced is very interesting to provide children with an understanding of the importance of caring for the health of teeth and mouth. This method is simple but very complete in explaining what good impacts will be if you are diligent in caring for teeth and bad impacts if not. I support if this is disseminated," said Dewi Widjaja.
