Kim Min Jae Departs Military Mandatory Starting September 18

JAKARTA - Kim Min Jae announced that his military service will begin this year. Through his agency, Nyam Nyam Entertainment said the actor departed on September 18.

On the same day, Kim Min Jae shared this news through a fan cafe. He will join members of the military band.

"Today, I have something to tell you. Many of you want to know, but I will be in the military on September 18 to fulfill my obligations," said Kim Min Jae.

"I will join the military band and although I feel sad and sorry for not being able to see you for a while, I am also enthusiastic about experience and learning through my military service," he said.

"Thank you for your concern, I will not forget. I will return as a stronger individual and I will ensure that I will restore your support as actor Kim Min Jae," concluded the actor.

The 26-year-old actor has acted in various drama titles. This year, his acting can be watched through Poong the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2, Dr. Romantic 3, and the Bloodhounds series.

His draft military plan was revealed when his co-star in Dr. Romantic 3, Han Suk Kyu accidentally talked about it. Suk Kyu mentioned his conversation when he advised Kim Min Jae to leave for military service as soon as possible.

After Dr. Romantic 3 ended, Kim Min Jae planned a fan meeting in South Korea last July. But the event was postponed to August following an accident near the fan meeting location.
