Chronology Of Karenina Anderson's Arrest Due To Alleged Drug Abuse

The police through the Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Achmad Ardhy, revealed the chronology of the arrest of Karenina Maria Anderson who was suspected of drug abuse.

Achmad Ardhy said that the arrest of the 40-year-old actress and model started from a public report last weekend.

"It came from a public report on Sunday, July 30, reporting the abuse of marijuana narcotics by a woman with the initials K," said Achmad Ardhy to the media crew at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Wednesday, August 2.

From the reports received, the police immediately conducted an investigation and immediately secured Karenina the day after that at her private residence.

"After that we conducted an investigation, and on Monday at around 22.15, sister K was arrested at her home and," said Achmad Ardhy.

At the time of the arrest, the police managed to secure evidence of 4.1 grams of marijuana, as well as selling marijuana weighing 0.3 grams.

"When we conducted a search, we found evidence in the form of a package of Marlboro cigarettes, which contained a pack of 4.1 gram marijuana and 0.3 grams of cellinting," he said.

The evidence is said to be in a table drawer, which Karenina took herself and then handed over to the police who carried out the security.

Furthermore, Achmad Ardhy said that the evidence that was secured from Karenina was a gift from a woman with the initials P. It was said that the actress got it for free.

"Evidence was obtained from a person named P, given free of charge. Currently it is still a DPO. The item was purchased by P, (later) ordered the person concerned to try marijuana. The item was tried around the road near Ciputat Market, South Tangerang," said Achmad Ardhy.

It was also stated by the police that Karenina admitted to being depressed and experiencing insomnia. This made him try to consume the type of marijuana narcotics.

"According to K's confession, he was depressed and there was insomnia," concluded Achmad Ardhy.
