Head Of RT Denies Asking For IDR 100 Million Ongos Titip Animal Kurban Dewi Perssik

JAKARTA- On the chaotic spirit of the sacrificial animals, Dewi Perssik, which is in the public spotlight, Malkan as the Head of RT 06/RW 04, West Cilandak Village, South Jakarta, denied any request for money amounting to Rp 100 million.

As previously known, Dewi Perssik said that she was asked for Rp. 100 million so that the sacrificial animals she had left at the Babul Khoirot Mosque wanted to be taken care of.

However, Malkan said there was a mistake from what Dewi Perssik said on social media on Tuesday, June 27.

"Earlier when we mediated, I asked if it was true, I asked for Rp100 million in the name of the owner, answered by Dewi Perssik's two assistants, one said no, the other he said was vague. That was the confession of two of his assistants," said Malkan to the media crew in Cilandak, South Jakarta, Thursday (28/6/2023).

Deputy Chairman of RT 06/RW 04, Abdi, also mentioned a misunderstanding from ART Dewi Perssik who at that time met Malkan.

The chaos about the sacrifice started with Dewi Perssik who wanted to entrust her sacrificial cow at the Babul Khoirot Mosque near her house. Pak Ustaz, who is Dewi's confidant, later said that the 37-year-old cattle wanted to be sacrificed at the mosque.

However, after being received by the sacrificial committee, the cow was actually asked to come back by ART Dewi Perssik, because she wanted to be sent to another slaughterhouse.

"I received that from a Ustaz, he said that Mrs. Dewi wanted to sacrifice at this mosque. I received it. After I received it at 10 o'clock, suddenly at 1 o'clock or at 2 o'clock suddenly she wanted to take the cow," explained Abdi.

Then, in the afternoon the ART came again and asked the RT to entrust the cows longer because of the lack of personnel to move the cows to the slaughterhouse.

Mallan also refused on the grounds that no one could take care of the cow for much longer. In the end, Mallan only agreed to leave the cow until 19.00 WIB.

At that time, Malkan emphasized to ART Dewi Perssik that he would not be responsible if the cow was entrusted with more than the time agreed.

"So, when he wanted to take the cow, he lacked personnel to pick up. Finally he (ART) said, 'Sir, what if I put it here again until tomorrow? I said 'If at 7 pm I haven't taken it off', that means it's not my responsibility anymore," said Malkan.

ART Dewi Perssik finally offered some money so that the cow could be assisted by the RT to be moved. The request apparently made Malkan as the head of the RT even more emotional and offended.

"Mr. RT said it, I just said this 'Because you've been annoying, my emotions, my self-esteem, I don't even want to (help moving cows)'," said Abdi.

"Apart from being big because the cow is big, we are not experts. What about the cow?" he concluded.
