Review Of Extraction 2: Tyler Rake's Upgrading Intensive Action!

JAKARTA - In 2020, Chris Hemsworth 'heated' the film industry with his latest film at that time, Extraction. Released in the midst of a pandemic, this film seems to be a breath of fresh air in the middle of cinemas that have to be closed and people depend on OTT (over the top) services.

Sure enough, the Sam Hargrave-directed film became the most watched Netflix original film in a short time. The 99 million total views (according to Netflix claims) were obtained within four weeks of the release which further confirmed that this film is really a breath of fresh air.

Big interest certainly produces potential sequels. Hemsworth and Hargrave are collaborating again under producers Joe and Anthony Russo. Extraction 2 brought them together in the action thriller film.

The first film was full of intense actions that spoil the eyes and it was expected to come in a sequel. Is that answered?

Extraction 2 tells the continuation of its first film, Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) was found safe and underwent treatment for several months. After being declared cured, Tyler Rake decided to stay in a hut in a remote area.

It didn't take long, many were looking for Tyler Rake for the task considering he was known as a legendary black market mercenaries. He learned of his ex-wife, Ketevan (Tinatin Dalakishvili) and her children who were imprisoned with her gangster husband, Davit Radiani.

Davit tried to keep his wife and children in prison while he managed a drug network with fellow inmates. Tyler Rake then tried to save Ketevan in the middle of the extrax. But Davit was killed and his brother, Zurab (Tornike Gogrichiani) is trying to find Tyler Rake for revenge.

As the title suggests, this film offers a neat and tense extraxion struggle. Like a superhero, Tyler Rake shows his ambitious side in an attempt to save a family that misses freedom - like himself.

This film shows intense gambling scenes that are repeatedly tense from the first film. The series of extrasion scenes, especially those shown in the Extraction 2 teaser, feels fun with the clean scene.

This analogy occurs not only Chris Hemsworth who is good at the scene but also the help of the camera that captures every scene. Starting from the action in prison riots, factories, remote forests to the chase on trains by helicopter.

In addition, the sound design also played amazingly in this scene, as a result, the audience also felt the tension in the middle of Tyler Rake's prison. Extraction 2 is a bigger increase than the original.

Tyler Rake is also given a greater burden of conflict when memories of his ex-wife and child continue to loom. The trauma became an emotional source of Rake that made him struggle to save Ketevan and his two children. There is a sad relationship that makes the rescue take place not just because Tyler Rake is paid.

Action thriller fans, especially Extraction, seem to be enjoying the presentation in the sequel while looking forward to the next stories.

Extraction 2 also stars Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Andro Jafaridze, Marta Kovziashvili, Daniel Bernhardt, Levan Saginashvili and Idris Elba.
