Giring Ganesha Matched With Aldi Taher, Nidji Personnel: We'll See, Can't Be Cooler Than Aldi Taher?

JAKARTA - Giring Ganesha has separated from Nidji, the band that made his name since 2017. The band, which has been active since 2002, has also found a new vocalist, Muhammad Yusuf Nur Ubay.

Randy Danistha, keyboardist Nidji admitted that he had never communicated with Giring again.

"I don't even have a number, how do I want to talk," he said when met in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta last week.

Randy, who is still loyal to his work in the entertainment world, said that his life choice with Giring was different. He just wants to focus on his job and hopes that the PSI chairman will do the same.

"We already have our own lives, meaning that he has chosen that path and we have also focused on it. Nidji is already walking with Ubay, so you don't have to be disturbed. So, until now we have never met again from 2017," he said.

Asked further about the support from Nidji personnel for Giring in the world of politics, Randy said that he and his friends were still waiting for Giring's breakthrough and achievements in the national political arena.

"We're actually waiting for his proud move. We're still waiting for it," said Randy.

"There is no (precision) yet," he continued.

Randy also mentioned the name Aldi Taher, who later became known to want to run in the upcoming 2024 elections. He hopes that Giring can balance Aldi Taher in the world of politics.

"We'll just look at the move, it's going to be cooler than Aldi Taher or not. I think Aldi Taher prefers it, if you look at the response, make a funny move. So Aldi Taher just go ahead," concluded Randy Danistha.
