JAKARTA - Chris Hemsworth returns to play Tyler Rake in the sequel to Netflix, Extraction 2. Netflix releases a trailer that will highlight Tyler's journey in the second with a new mission.

Today, Wednesday, May 17, the trailer for Extraction 2 was released after Netflix launched three exclusive posters of the film. Through the trailer, viewers can watch Tyler Rake go through a critical period from the past.

But his life is at stake in the latest section. He was tasked with saving a family of Georgian bandits from the prison they were in. Rake took various actions to avoid the hunters.

The two-minute video features an increasingly extreme shootout and pursuit from the first part.

Tyler Rake's action against the hunters was also highlighted by one take and made this trailer even more special. In addition, the audience can see a number of new players who are still directed by Sam Hargrave.

This film was written by Joe Russo who co-produced with Anthony Russo and Chris Hemsworth. Extraction 2 also stars Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, and Tinatin Dalakishvili. Apart from Hemsworth, Golshifteh Farahani returns to play his previous characters here.

The extraction is based on Ciudad graphic novels by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, and illustrations by Fernando Le totaling Gonzulanglez.

The first film was positively welcomed by Netflix subscribers. Four weeks after its release in April 2020, Extraction was watched by 99 million views repeatedly. The film entered Netflix's Top 10th in July.

As a result, Extraction became the fourth most watched film in 2020. This is also the basis for the continuation of the Extraction which is much awaited by the public.

The Extraction 2 film will be released on June 16 on Netflix.
