EXO Inter Kai Portrait Begins Military Service Today

JAKARTA - Kai EXO started his military service today, Thursday, May 11. Not alone, the seven EXO members took him to basic training.

EXO's social media account uploaded their photo together to the public on the same day. Kai is seen appearing with his hair cut and posing in their mainstay style towards the camera.

DO, Xiumin, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Suho, Chen, and Sehun were seen dressed in casual clothes together with Kai wearing a white shirt and black pants.

Chanyeol also uploaded photos with Kai, where they compactly touched Kai's head like the flagship pose they often used before. Chanyeol was also seen holding Kai in his post.

In the caption of the photo, Chanyeol wrote, 'Don't get sick and come back safely!'

Last week, SM Entertainment announced Kai would enlist in the military amid preparations for EXO's comeback. Kai also held a free fan meeting to greet fans before leaving on May 9.

"Kai is preparing an EXO comeback schedule this year, but due to changes in military administration regulations, he will go to a training center on May 11 where he will receive basic military exercises and then serve as a public service worker," said SM Entertainment.

At the time of fan meeting, Kai revealed that he would shave his hair one day before leaving for the training camp. A number of fans found Kai had already shaved his hair and greeted his family before leaving.

Kai will start basic training for two weeks before officially serving as a public worker for two years.
