Injuries Are Getting Worse, Peniel Absent Latest BTOB Comeback

JAKARTA - BTOB's comeback is eagerly awaited by fans after several members who have completed their military service. Unfortunately, one member, Peniel will be absent from their latest album promotion schedule.

Cube Entertainment as the agency explained, Peniel had just experienced back pain and seemed unable to move freely.

Member BTOB, Peniel went to the hospital this morning (May 2) due to worsening back pain, and it was decided he had to undergo treatment and rest," the agency said on the same day.

"He can't attend the BTOB's Kiss the Radio and Gayo Square (May 3) with Lee Eun Ji," explained the agency.

However, the agency could not explain how long Peniel would be absent from BTOB activities. They will decide after Peniel's health status has improved.

"The schedule in the future will be processed according to his recovery status," the agency said.

"We sincerely apologize to fans for this news. We will try to do our best for the health of our artist," he explained.

BTOB released their latest album, WIND AND WISH today, Tuesday, May 2. Peniel is known to be absent from the press conference which was held a few hours before its release.

This is not the first time a member has been absent from group activities. Previously there was Joy Red Velvet who was absent from the concert series and Chenle who was not present at the NCT Dream concert at two points due to her health condition.
