Minang Tradition, Dozens Of Actors And Actress Attend The Buya Hamka Premiere Gala In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The film produced by Falcon Pictures with Starvision, Buya Hamka held a simultaneous premiere gala in 18 cities today, April 9. The gala premiere in Jakarta took place at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta.

No less than 29 actors and actresses who were involved in the film directed by Fajar Bustomi were present at the gala premiere in Jakarta. They compactly wore Minangkabau traditional clothes.

One by one the cast came to the stage which was prepared at the XXI Epicentrum page. Starting from Mawar De Jongh, Reybong, Anjasmara and Reza Rahadian took turns up the stage. At the last accompaniment, Vino G Bastian and Laudya Chintya Bella came on the wagon.

Vino, who plays Buya Hamka in her speech, said that she hoped that the film she starred in could be an inspiration for the people who watch.

"Hopefully this film can be accepted not only by people who know Buya Hamka, but everyone. Hopefully, the bida will be an entertaining and inspiring film for all of us," said Vino G Bastian.

In addition to the cast and production team for Buya Hamka films, several invited guests such as the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Oesman Sapta Odang and the Governor of West Sumatra, Mahyeldi Ansharullah were also present at the gala premiere this time.

In addition to the cast mentioned above, several other actors who were also present were Donny Damara, Ayu Laksmi, Marthino Lio, Mathias Muchus, Verdi Solaeman, Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Ben Kasyafani, Wafda Lubis, Ferry Salim, Donny Kesuma, Cok Simbara, Roy Sungkono, Yoriko Angeline, Ajil Ditto, Zayyan Sakha, and Yoga Pratama.

Apart from Jakarta, Buya Hamka's premiere gala was also held in Tangerang, Depok, Bogor, Bandung, Padang, Medan, Palembang, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Malang, Jember, Surabaya, Makassar, Banjarmasin, Solo, Lampung and Pekanbaru.

Buya Hamka will be shown simultaneously in cinemas throughout Indonesia on April 20.
