Andien Inaugurates School In Pemulung Village, Joglo, West Jakarta

Singer Andien Aisyah collaborated with the Nara Kreatif Foundation on Thursday 6 April inaugurating the School of Trust Children in a scavenger village in Joglo Village, West Jakarta, to facilitate residents who have not had access to proper education.

School Children Believe in providing education in pursuit of package A (equivalent to elementary school), chasing package B (equivalent to junior high school), and chasing package C (equivalent to high school) for free, by targeting new registrants aged 7-60 years.

According to Andien, creating access to decent education and making the Indonesian people smart is a shared responsibility. He admitted that he was concerned if he saw children forced to drop out of school due to cost constraints.

"The role of Nara Kreatif and I here is only to provide facilities and motivation for them, until finally they can believe in themselves and their own dreams," Andien said in an official statement, quoted from Antara, Saturday, April 8.

In line with Andien, the Chairman of the Nara Kreatif Foundation Nezatullah Ramadhan also said that Children's School Believes is an opportunity for residents to return to pursuing their dreams.

Neza considers it important, because education is an investment for the future that can make value in them more meaningful.

"Unlike the Package Pursuit School that was founded previously by Nara Kreatif, Children's School Believes it was built specifically for scavenger villagers. In the future, this school will be more widely established at other scavenger village points," said Neza.

The Principal of the Center for Community Learning Activities (PKBM) Nara Kreatif Ani Nur Srirejeki added that the establishment of the School of Children Believe is a good effort to improve education equality while reducing the number of dropouts.

The inauguration of the Children's School Believes to receive full support from the Pemulung Village Trustees, Agus, who also serves as Bhabinkamtibmas, Srengseng Village, Kembangan District.

"I see a lot of the children here whose activities only collect garbage, even though education is an important asset for them, where in the future they can find a better job," he said.

The inauguration of the Children's School of Trust is accompanied by dental counseling, as well as iftar activities together by inviting public figures and local community leaders.

The Children's Trust School in the scavenger village of Joglo Village, West Jakarta, became the point where the two schools were established. The first point of establishment of the Children's Trust School is located in Pondok Kopi Village, East Jakarta.
