JAKARTA - Vikah's latest Korean thriller drama starring Nam Joo Hyuk will air exclusively on Disney + Hotstar streaming service at the end of 2023.

Adapted from a well-known webtoon with the same title by CRG and Kim Kyusam, Vikah follows the story of Kim Jiyong (played by Nam Joo Hyuk) who decides to take steps to take revenge and fight for justice.

Jiyong is a brilliant student at the police academy. In Vikuk, Jiyong is also a growing martial arts master and a bookworm.

But for more than a decade, Jiyong's life was haunted by the shadow of a violent incident when his mother was beaten and killed by foreigners in front of his eyes.

When his mother's killer was released, Jiyong hunted down the perpetrator and caught the person injuring another person. In order to take revenge against the perpetrators who still do not repent, Jiyong in the drama continues to hunt down the criminals.

Without realizing it, Jiyong's actions attracted attention from the media and the police. Because he was reluctant to give up on his mission, he had to use the knowledge gained from the police academy to take revenge and avoid the police.

The drama Viribunya is directed by Choi Jeongyeol. Apart from Nam Joo-hyuk, this drama also stars a number of well-known artists such as Yoo Jitae who plays detective Jo Heon, Kim Sojin as journalist Choi Miryeo, and Lee Junhyuk as Cho Kangok.
