JAKARTA - Jimin BTS officially released a solo album titled FACE today, Friday, March 24. A music video for the main track titled Like Crazy was released at the same time.
Like Crazy is a pop synth song that combines drums and synth. This song contains lyrics about the feelings of someone trying to run away from the pain they face.
Interestingly, this song was written by Jimin along with other BTS members, RM. Both presented a new side of Jimin who was different when he performed solo songs by appearing with BTS.
The music video shows Jimin in the crowd and feels alone. Then the scene changes when he is alone in a room. He always tries to run but he returns to the same place.
Like Crazy is one of six new songs that appear on the FACE album. Previously, Jimin launched a pre-release single titled Set Me Free Pt. 2.
In addition, this solo album contains Face-off, Interlude: Dive, Alone, and Like Crazy in English. This album was done by Jimin with producers who had worked on BTS songs, including Pdogg, ENTHUSIASMTLOOP, Evan, and others.
Jimin is the fourth BTS member to release a solo project after the agency announced the BTS members would focus on solo activities.
Outside of projects with BTS, Jimin showed his vocals with With You, which made the soundtrack for the drama Our Blues. He also collaborated with BIGBANG's Taeyang for the song Vibe.
Jimin BTS has started the promotion by appearing for the first time on The Tonight Show Starting Jimmy Fallon performing his solo song.
