Luke Evans Breaks Up With Same-Sex Boyfriend, Rafael Olarra

JAKARTA - Luke Evans and his same-sex partner Rafael Olarra broke up following weeks of media speculation.

Evans made public his relationship with Olarra in February 2020 through a video he shared. In the video they are on vacation together in Hawaii.

However, speculation mounted in October that the gay couple's relationship ended after Evans unfollowed the Instagram account of Olarra, who works as a luxury arts recruiter for an American hotel chain.

Evans also removed all of Olarra's photos from the image-sharing platform, sparking speculation from fans that the Beauty and the Beast actor is back single.

Evans confirmed the end of his relationship with Olarra in an interview with The Times, saying simply: "That's what happened."

He also revealed about his dream of becoming a father by saying he had learned to start a family.

"I thought about it many times and as I got older I thought maybe I should go on and do it," said Evans when asked if he wanted to have children.

“I don't want to be an old father… but I want to be a father. There is a lot of satisfaction in sharing your experiences and raising a strong, open-minded, kind and respectful human who can come out and do something good. "
