Acha Septriasa Has Difficulty Being A New Ghost, Long Different When He Becomes A Pocong

JAKARTA - Acha Septriasa is back playing a horror film titled Hantu Baru. This time Acha has also become a ghost figure. The film Hantu Baru, the story of Sasa (Acha Septriasa) as a New Ghost. The film Hantu Baru tells the story of a woman named Sasa who has just died because she became a victim of an accident.

After becoming a new ghost, Sasa was introduced to the ghosting life by senior ghosts. Unfortunately, the place they live in is the arrival of a psychic who wants to expel ghosts. They also tried to thwart the paranormal mission.

"For Sasa's character, you have to distinguish life's acting and become a new ghost. How can a ghost's face have minimal expression. It's like talking about eyebrows can't move, it's difficult," he said.

Compared to being a pocong, Acha feels the challenges are different. "If pocong is heavy in make-up. You have to use prosthetics. Here, the appearance is natural but you have to be able to tell which ghosts are humans," he explained.

Duet with Rezky Aditya, Acha admitted that he did not think much of accepting the offer from the producer. "When I was offered Rezky, the schedule was right. Image contact with me because I followed his wife. I was very open with optimality. The concept is to make comedy horror, fun," he recalled.

According to Acha, currently the horror film market is on the rise. So he didn't want to miss the opportunity.

"The horror films are now scary, the important thing is that the hype is maintained to follow the market. Don't just talk about our ambitions," he hoped.

According to him, the recent rapid horror film industry should be balanced with other genres in cinemas, so that Indonesian viewers have many varietys of stories and viewing choices. "That's why I want this film, because the comedy can," concluded Acha Septriasa.
