2 Times Entangled In Drug Cases, Ammar Zoni Will Not Resign From The Entertainment World

JAKARTA - Ammar Zoni must return to rest from the entertainment world after being involved in drug cases for the second time. Since being arrested last Wednesday, March 8, 2023, until now the 29-year-old soap opera actor must be detained by the police.

Although Ammar has admitted his mistake and is aware that he has disappointed the public, Elza Syarief as his attorney said that his client will not quit the world of entertainment, especially the world of acting.

"No (stopped), he was indeed in his career and life there. He studied at IKJ was indeed acting, so he wouldn't back down," said Elza Syarief at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Friday, March 10.

Elza sees that Ammar's main expertise is acting. If he has to leave something controlled, the lawyer sees that his client's condition will get worse in the future.

However, Elza said that there was not much discussion about what would be done in the future. Currently, there are other things to focus on first.

"But most importantly he has to recover and escape from these illicit items. He's a victim," said Elza.

Elza said that she had reminded Irish Bella's husband that what she had done had damaged her own career. The lawyer also asked Ammar to be serious about being free from drug snares after this second case.

"I said (to Ammar), 'you don't damage your career with things that aren't true'. And he's serious and promises (to be free from drugs) to my family and also to me,"

The lawyer who often accompanies the artist said he was ready to help Ammar Zoni to get out and get addicted. He plans to apply for an assessment so that his client is undergoing rehabilitation.

"I said 'if you really want to change, no longer approach illicit goods like this, you have to seek treatment'. That's why I will ask the Police Chief and investigators to do an assessment and get treatment, so that he can really escape this illicit item," concluded Elza Syarief.
