This Musician Makes Super Light Electric Cars In The World

Attucks, a car manufacturer owned by musician Wyclef Jean, introduced his luxury electric car called Attucks Apex AP0. An interesting fact about his car is that it weighs 1,200 kg, claimed to be the lightest supercar car ever made.

Wyclef Jean said that the Apex AP0 weight could be so light because the manufacturer uses a carbon monocoque chassis with a modular space frame. Due to its light weight, the super car can go from 0-90 km/h within 2.3 seconds.

Well, if the weight is only 1.2 tons, this is lighter than the competing car, Rimac Nevera, for example weighing 2.3 tons.

Reporting from Autoblogging, Tuesday, March 7, the AP0 Apex is equipped with an electric motor which can produce a power of 650 dk and a torque of 580 Nm which can travel at a maximum speed of up to 305 km/hour.

For the price offered, Attucks sells the super electric car in the range of 320,000 US dollars or Rp4.9 billion, for the official price to be released next year. The price is classified as cheap for super cars.

With the creation of the AP0 Apex, this is also in line with Wyclef Jean's vision to realize the dream of everyone having a super electric car. "The future and Attucks technology are to give everyone a dream," said the Haitian-born hiphop entrepreneur and singer.
