Dave Bautista Rejects Fast & Furious's Latest Offer, Why?

JAKARTA - Dave Bautista admitted that he had turned down an offer to join the film Fast & Furious. He wants to commit to his latest film, Tears of War.

Through an interview, Bautista admitted that he was more interested in playing the film from the video game than joining the franchise that had been running until the 10th film.

"I don't mean to offend anyone. I don't demean anything else. But (Gears) is more attractive to me," Dave Bautista told Collider.

Furthermore, Dave Bautista explained the reason for not appearing in the argument for the blockbuster series. According to him, he is not very interested in the story and does not want to pretend to like something.

"I don't like being attracted to something I really don't like when something gets me excited," he said again.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I'm not trying to try the other side. I'm just saying this is what I love and I'm very enthusiastic about this. I can work well for you guys," he continued.

When asked about his dream role, Dave Bautista admitted that he was attracted to the character Dane from DC. He himself played thexiver the Destroyer from the Marvel cinematic universe.

I think I can bring something with a character (Bane) not only in appearance but also physically. I like the role that demands me to increase my weight in order to play this character," said Dave Bautista.

"I can... play fun that is not only threatening and fun but also a smart person," he said.

Dave Bautista expressed his desire to play Marcus Fenix in the video adaptation of the game Spears of War. He even uploaded a post of himself wearing the Spears of War outfit through his Instagram account but so far Netflix has not announced whether Bautista will join.
