JAKARTA - The issue of Domestic Violence (KDRT) has approached the families of workers in the entertainment world in the country. After Lesty Kejora and Rizky Billar last year, followed by Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan earlier this year, now soap opera actor Rizal Djibran reported by his wife, Sarah.

Rizal Djibran was reported on suspicion of domestic violence by his wife. Sarah, accompanied by her attorney, visited the Polda Metro Jaya on Monday, February 13, 2023 to make a report.

Arriving at the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) Polda Metro Jaya at around 14.00 WIB, Sarah and her team of attorneys gave information on reports of alleged domestic violence that she experienced. During the time he gave information to the police.

"Today I accompanied my client, officially reported her husband with the initials RG, committing a criminal act of domestic violence and/or for sexual violence," said Tris Haryanto, Sarah's attorney at Polda Metro Jaya on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Tris stated that the report and some of the evidence in his client had been received by the police. "Alhamdulillah, the SPKT Polda Metro Jaya has received it. There is evidence of medical records from the hospital, namely bruises on my client's hands and feet," he continued.

Sarah revealed that she had had the intention to report Rizal Djjibran to the authorities for a long time. However, his wish was not done because he often received threats from Rizal Djibran.

"Saya dari awal kali pertama kali kekerasan seksual sudah meneruhkan, cuma saya diancam. Diancam dengan bentuknya kekerasan verbal, ditukul di tangan dan kaki," tuturnya.

For information, Rizal and Sarah married on February 22, 2022. Both are known to have a much different age distance, where Rizal is 15 years older than his wife. Until now, their marriage has not been blessed with children.

Sarah's report against Rizal Djibran has been registered in the number LP/B/802/II/2023/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA. In this case Rizal Djibran was also reported under Article 5 Letter A in conjunction with Article 43 Paragraph (1) and or Article 8 Letter A in conjunction with Article 46 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning PKDRT.
