JAKARTA - A teenager actor Ali Fikry will appear in the latest horror film produced by Rapi Films entitled Time Maghrib. Ali, who plays Adi, is one of three children who is the source of a series of mystical terrors that haunts the village where he lives.

Maghrib's time is not the first horror film for the 14-year-old actor. Ali previously played in the Kuntilanak trilogy films in 2018, 2019, and 2022.

Taking a shoot in a village in Yogyakarta, Ali was afraid, but the presence of other actors made him more enjoyable in the process of filming his fourth horror film.

"It's really scary, but it's also fun because I'm helped by other seniors. So I can be helped so that I can get better acting. At the location it's also fun, lots of people, lots of friends, it's cool, really," said Ali Fikry while visiting VOI on Monday, January 30th.

For Ali, acting in horror films has its own difference. He felt different tensions while filming and also his energy became more drained.

In horror films, the appearance of fine creatures becomes essential. Before filming, Ali had his own way to imagine the appearance of these fine creatures.

"If I read the script, I imagined how it would be like before. Then on the new set we'll see how it's actually done," he said.

For Ali, there are 2 interesting things that make Maghrib's time worth watching. For him, not only scary and tense, Maghrib's time also has a fictitious storyline.

"This film is not guessed, you will not know which one is evil and which one is good," he concluded.

Directed by Sidharta Tata, Maghrib's time is about the supernatural terror experienced by three friends in a remote village. Besides Ali Fikry, this film also stars a number of other well-known actors, including Aulia Sarah, Taskya Namya, Bima Sena, Nafiza Fatia Rani, and Andri Mashadi.
