Given A Rating Of 19+, Viewers Of The Penthouse's New Episode Have Even Experienced An Increase

JAKARTA - The number of viewers of Korean drama The Penthouse continues to increase even though the latest episode has been marked for viewers aged 19 years and over.

Launching Nielsen Korea today, Tuesday, December 29, episode 18 of The Penthouse hit 21.0 and 23.9 for the first and second parts. Last week, the drama reached 24.0, achieving satisfactory ratings.

It is known, the latest episode shows the climax of the life of the family at Penthouse. One of them was Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) 's affair with Joo Dan Tae (Uhm Ki Joon) which shocked the audience.

Joo Dan Tae, who had an affair with several women at the Penthouse, was also able to make Oh Yoon Hee fall in love with him.

Meanwhile, SBS confirmed filming for The Penthouse has been completed and that they will continue for the second and third seasons. The broadcast schedule will be changed to every Friday and Saturday.

Drakor The Penthouse tells the story of three women who put their social life at stake. Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene), a woman who wants to join the socialites on the 100th floor of a penthouse in Gangnam. He was born to a poor family and worked hard to become rich.

Then there is Shim Su-Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah) who is rich and has a successful husband. Her life looks perfect. Besides that, there is Cheon Seo Jin (Kim So Yeon) who is old money and arrogant. A number of mysterious conflicts terrorize their lives in the penthouse.

The first season of The Penthouse has 20 episodes while the newest season has only 12 episodes. The new season of The Penthouse will air starting February 2021.
