Ipar Panji Trihatmodjo's Sister, Guitarist Nita Staruss Calls Herself To Develop Careless As Artist And Songwriter

JAKARTA - Former guitarist for Alice Cooper, Nita total talks to Guitar World magazine about her second solo album to be released later this year through Sumeria Records.

"I am a very emotional musician and person, and I am writing about what I feel and what happened in my life. Making this album, and especially doing a lot of writing during 2020, when everything is locked down and uncertain, comes out with a lot of emotion in writing my song," Nita said. quoted by Blabbermouth, Wednesday.

"I have grown rapidly as an artist and songwriter since [my debut solo album] Controlled Chaos came out in 2018, and I am excited to show a higher level of play and deeper depth and maturity in these new songs."

"I've developed a lot as a musician, my technique has gotten better in the last four years, and I've become more comfortable in my own style, as a guitarist I feel like myself."

Last October, Nita released a new single and accompanying music video, The Wolf You Feed, featuring Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. The lyrics of this song are inspired by "The Story Of The Two Wolves", a legend widely associated with an American native.

Nita is the older brother of Varsha trihatmodjo, the wife of Panji Trihatmodjo - the children of Bambang Trihatmodjo and Halimah. Varsha and Panji married in August 2018.
