JAKARTA - Visinema's latest edutainment series program, Domikado has aired its first episode. The work of Anggia Kharisma and Ryan Adriandhy will air regularly every Friday at 16.00 WIB on the DOMIKADO_ID YouTube channel.

The first season will be presented in 24 episodes. There are six characters in Domikado who have different traits and represent diversity to convey good messages. They are Astronbek, Bea, Beo, Cis-Cis,

In addition to the 6 main characters, Domikado in the first season will present several guest stars. Starting from Ringgo Agus Rahman, Rachel Amanda, Najeela Shihab, Quinn Salman, Kristo Immanuel, Chef Jenny and Doctor Ferdiriva.

In the first episode entitled Tandga Nada, Astrobek, Bea, Beo and Bangka want to sing a birthday song for Cis-Cis as a surprise. Bea also introduced a tone ladder so that his friends could practice singing.

Who would have thought knowing the tone ladder could make one of them find an unexpected hidden talent.

After releasing the first episode, the two creators Anggia Kharisma and Ryan Adriandhy conveyed their thoughts behind making Domikado.

"As a parent, I always want to be able to provide educational shows that are useful and also entertaining to my child. The lack of a friendly spectacle for children and families is my anxiety and makes us present Domikado's educational program," said Anggia Kharisna in a written release, Friday, December 16.

Anggia believes that one way to get closer to children is through good content that can be enjoyed with children and families, especially when it can be a routine joint activity or on weekends. Domikado is also expected to have relevance to the basic teaching needs of children to improve cognitive abilities, build critical, creative thinking, and build empathy. Furthermore, Domikado is expected not only to be a spectacle but also to become a new icon for Indonesian children and families.

Ryan Adriandhy explained that the concept of edutainment itself is a combination of education and entertainment. "Education is what Domikado wants to convey, while entertaining is how we try to convey the educational content," he explained.

Furthermore, Ryan assessed that many children's content in Indonesia is often less balanced in combining the two. Existing content is often too educational but forgets to entertain, or vice versa, too focused on entertainment until the weight of education is forgotten.

"Through Domikado, we try to find a draw between the two by developing creative ideas while discussing with a special curriculum team. The goal is that the education side can be adjusted to the growth and development. In the entertainment section, we vary many creative techniques such as animation, puppeteering, guest stars, music, and interesting visual graphics," he concluded.
