"I want to file a defense against myself as follows. I have never defamed, slandered a person, anyone, whether in the media, anytime, anywhere. I beg your Majesty to give me wisdom," Ayu Thalia said in a pledoi hearing at the North Jakarta District Court, Thursday, December 1.

Ayu explained her position as the backbone of the family, where her parents are no longer working and she has to support her sister alone. "Hopefully the panel of judges will know and can make this a consideration in the decision of this case," he asked.
