Session Postponed 2 Sundays Due To Main Tennis Judge, Nikita Mirzani: Old Her Majesty

JAKARTA - Nikita Mirzani through his attorney asked for two weeks to file an exception or memorandum of objection to the indictment addressed to the artist who is usually called Nyai.

As previously known, Nikita Mirzani has undergone the first trial of the defamation case which took place at the Serang District Court (PN) on Monday, November 14 yesterday.

The inaugural trial was scheduled for the reading of the indictment by the Public Prosecutor (JPU), which was then continued at the reading of the exception by Nikita Mirzani's attorney. However, the exception reading must be postponed until November 28.

"At this trial, the defendant's legal advisor asked for two weeks to file an exception or objection to the indictment read out by the prosecutor earlier," said Uli Purnama, Public Relations of the Serang District Court to reporters on Monday, November 14.

Previously, the judge revealed that he was forced to postpone the trial for two weeks because he was hit by a tennis race schedule for all levels of the Serang District Court.

"Incidentally, we became a contingent in that match," said Dedy Adi Saputra as the presiding judge of the assembly.

"Your Majesty, I'm sorry, too late," said Nikita Mirzani.

Fachmi Bahmid, one of Nikita Mirzani's attorneys who was also present at the trial, said that the material loss of Rp. 17.5 million experienced by Dito Mahendra as the reporter who appeared in the indictment would be one of the points brought in his exception.

"How is the calculation method carried out so that a nominal loss appears. At the time of the exception we will dismantle one by one, how are the mistakes made by the prosecutor in compiling this indictment," said Fachmi.

According to the lawyer, Nikita Mirzani also admitted that she was surprised when she learned that the loss suffered by Dito Mahendra could be included in the indictment, because Nikita admitted that she did not know Dito at all, and she did not feel that she had harmed the reporting party.
