JAKARTA - Disney held Investor Day on Thursday, December 10 to provide the latest news on business developments as well as some content that became their strategy.

Patty Jenkins Film Director Rogue Squadron

Still from the Star Wars universe, Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins was appointed to direct the new Star Wars film, Rogue Squadron. This will be the first Star Wars film directed by a woman. The film will be released in 2023.

The rumors regarding the replacement of King T'Challa's players have been answered. Through Investor Day, Kevin Feige, the boss of Marvel stated that no one can replace Chadwick Boseman as King T'Challa.

“Chadwick Boseman is a talented actor and individual who inspires and influences our lives professionally and personally. His character as T'Challa in Black Panther is iconic and transcends characters from Marvel's past, ”said Kevin Feige. Boseman died in August after battling colon cancer.

Walt Disney Animation & Television Reboots Turner & Hooch and Raya and the Last Dragon

Disney will reboot the classic Turner & Hooch television show, the cute dogs that are ready to go live on Disney +. Through this event, Disney released the first appearance of the Hooch dog.

Chip N 'Dale: Rescue Rangers Live Action Animated Film

Popular as an animated series in 1989, Chip N 'Dale will be working on a live-action animated film. The two members of The Lonely Island, Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg will portray the character Chip N 'Dale. John Mulaney is also confirmed to join this film.
