Nidji Band Kembali Dengan Lagu Baru, Wadoow

JAKARTA - The band Nidji is now starting to re-introduce his new songs. One of them is titled Wadoow which is inspired by the true story of the group's past.

"Actually, we already have a single 5. Today we are holding (at the Monday Festival) there is Wadoow and Abu Abu it was released in 2020. During the pandemic, we didn't have time to promoize either. Furthermore, Randy Danistha as the keyboardist shared that the video clip of this song is almost like the story of the Money Heist film. Because, Nidji wants to convey through this song about a friendly story that has a different way.

"Actually, this Wadoow tells about a friend who has a different way. So yesterday in real life it was like the twist. In the video clip we want to tell, the story is we are both criminals but suddenly one wants to know," said Randy.

"So it looks like a different way. Yes, that's it, so when it happens, it's just Wadoow. We want to turn the point of view. If in our video clip become a criminal, one of our friends wants to be a good person. So different vision, "he continued.

In the song there are also lyrics The past is a sign, Can we still be friends? where Nidji hopes, they can all still be friends with other friends even though now they have different directions and goals.

"Yes (stay friends). No matter what, the road is different, but we are still friends," said Rama.

In addition, Nidji also admitted that he already had a lot of stock of new songs. In addition, Nidji will also still release their old hits with a new formation.

Some of Nidji's old hits that have been remade include Delete Me', Arti Sahabat and If I Fall In Love. Even in the future, Nidji revealed that they really wanted to release a new album.

"We have a lot of stock, yes. There are plans for several songs as well. But the closest ones are indeed releasing hits (old) with the current formation. There is a Removed Aku, Arti Sahabat is the same If I Fall in Love," said Rama.

"I want to have an album. Because everyone is encouring, Nidji's old friends must have a new album. As a signature of Nidji, it's not just single-single, but this is Nidji's new chapter album. Just pray next year it can run. It's installments. But it doesn't fit to Anniv Nidji (February 2023). It's not caught up," he concluded.
