Rapper Bad Bunny took first place as the most listened artist during 2020 with a total of 8.3 billion streams. Then, there is Drake who ranks second, followed by J Balvin and Juice WRLD.

If male rappers dominate total streaming, there's Billie Eilish as the most-listened female singer on Spotify for two consecutive years. Then there are Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande who sit in the next rank.

The song Blinding Lights from The Weeknd became the most-listened song on Spotify during 2020. With a total of 1.6 billion streams, this song has increased the number of listeners of The Weeknd on Spotify.

Despite achieving a large number of streams, fans regretted that The Weeknd did not win a single Grammy nomination.
