JAKARTA - The film Keri-Ngeri Sedap is confirmed to be released via streaming service. This news was announced by Netflix today, Thursday, September 22.

According to his statement, the film directed by Bene Dion Rajagukguk is Indonesia's representative for the Best International Feature Film category at Oscar 2023. Indonesia is one of the countries in Asia that has registered its work.

Film ini juga akan tersedia untuk Netflix secara global bukan hanya di Indonesia.

Previously, producers Dipa Andika and Bene Dion admitted that they did not expect this work to be very positive to the audience. They hope this film can fly to the final selection of Oscars.

"Hopefully the Batak custom will be more known to the world," said Bene Dion.

The film Negeri-Ngeri Sedap is the first film from the Imajinari production house, with the Visionari Film Fund. Starring Arswendy Beningswara, Tika Panggabean, Gita Bhebhaita, Boris Bokir, Lolox and Indra Jegel.

This film tells the story of the couple Pak Domu (Arswendy Beningswara) and Mak Domu (Tika Panggabean) who are planning a divorce so that their three children: Domu (Boris Bokir), deterrence (Lolox) and Sahat (Indra Jegel) return home.

The film Keri-Ngeri Sedap can be watched on Netflix starting October 6.
