JAKARTA - The JogjaRTa Festival announced the name of the international band that will be the headliner on the second day of the event, September 25, at the Breksi Cliff, Yogyakarta. The band is Hoobastank.

Through social media, the organizers reported the plan for the presence of the band from California, United States in the fifth edition of JogjaRKkarta. Doug Robb et al will appear with the ranks of the domestic band which was announced earlier.

"Oi Jon.. special for those of you who are looking forward to the international line-up, now we present @hoobastank to appear on the second day of the Jogja R000000arta Festival, week 25 September 2022 at the Yogyakarta Breksi Cliff," wrote Jogja ROKUkarta on Instagram on Wednesday.

Hoobastank was formed in 1994 in Agoura Hills, California, by vocalist Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin, drummer Chris Hesse, and original bassist Markku Lappalainen. They signed a contract with Island Records from 2001 to 2012 and have released six full albums and one EP (mini album).

Hoobastank's newest album, Push Pull, was released on May 25, 2018. So far, they have sold 10 million albums worldwide. The band is famous for its biggest single hit entitled The Reason.

For Hoobastank, this is the fourth arrival to Indonesia. First, 2004 in Jakarta. Then, 2007 also in Jakarta. Then, 2010 in Jakarta and Bali. And now in Yogyakarta.

Hoobastank will appear on the same day with the sons of the Death Vomit area, then Edane, Jamrud, Prison Of Blues, Pelangai, The Melting Minds, Voice Of Baceprot, Rockfivetivative Winner, Circle Fox, Fun As Thirty, and Haszh.

Then Havinhell, Heks, Metalic Ass, Psychoriot, Rocket, Saintjimmy, Sakarin, Smstr 10, Sunlotus, Teram, The Kick, The Kushanil, The Ring plus The Trengginas.
