Hitoshi Iwaaki's manga was first published in Kodansha in Morning Open Zōkan and Monthly Afternoon magazines. It was released from 1988 to 1995 and sold over 25 million copies.
Parasyte: The Gray is Yeon Sang Ho's newest series after Hellbound. His own name became known after directing Train to Busan and Peninsula.
