Jeje Slebew Agrees Citayam Fashion Week To Be Held During Car Free Day

JAKARTA - Content creator Jasmine Laticia, who is familiarly called Jeje Slebew, said that she agreed with DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ariza Patria's proposal that Citayam Fashion Week (CFW) be held on Car Free Day (HBKB).

Nevertheless, Jeje hopes that the government can fulfill one condition that CFW can still be a space of expression for SCBD children (Sudirman, Citayam, Bojong Gede, Depok) to show themselves.

"Jeje himself agrees with the government's policy, but hopefully it won't hinder the creativity that exists among friends at Citayam Fashion Week," he said at a press conference in the Dukuh Atas area as reported by Antara, Saturday.

The 16-year-old girl admitted that Citayam Fashion Week and the Dukuh Atas environment are her home to be able to work and express herself.

Even in that public space, he can feel fully accepted as a complete person.

"Jeje is happy if someone comes to CFW and Dukuh Atas because Dukuh Atas is a place where Jeje can be at peace with Jeje's life. Dukuh Atas has also become Jeje's place from scratch, from Jeje he doesn't have anything," he said.

He hopes that this public space can still exist and remain a common space for the community.

Previously, on Wednesday (27/7) Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ariza Patria had expressed his support for Citayam Fashion Week to be held when HBKB takes place every Sunday morning.

According to him, visitors who visit CFW every day will be able to have more space to do fashion shows.

"Right, if CFD is held on Sunday morning, that's good. I've also suggested that," said Ariza.

He further added, "It's wide from the end of Thamrin to the end of Sudirman, go ahead."

Citayam Fashion Week is a phenomenon that has recently become a hot topic among the public.
