JAKARTA - Hundreds of residents packed the Citayam Fashion Week (CFW) area in the Dukuh Atas area, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Saturday night July 23, 2022.

In fact, as a result of the large number of people who want to see fashion shows, the downtown area actually looks chaotic.

From observations in the field, the Dukuh Atas area is no longer orderly. The flow of vehicle traffic passing through the area is also experiencing congestion.

Teenagers to adults filled the area and spilled onto the highway, disturbing motorists.

Takim (32) one of the motorcyclists who passed by said he was annoyed to see the previously orderly Dukuh Atas area, when the SCBD trend became viral, finally getting more and more disorganized.

"It's useless to have officers here if they can't control those who disturb us riders. Be strict with those who really annoy drivers," he said at the location, Saturday, July 23, evening.

The traffic density also led to several minor incidents such as bumps from one vehicle to another.

"My legs are pinched, please hurry," said Takim.

The activity was also escorted by the Central Jakarta Satpol PP. The officers never stop giving advice to the participants and visitors of CFW.

"Let's go back, ask for help, don't block the road," said the Satpol PP officer.

Previously, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, asked DKI Satpol PP to take action and disband children's activities at Citayam Fashion Week, Dukuh Atas, Central Jakarta if they violate various provisions.

Riza said that the disbandment order was carried out for the good of the children.

"Don't hesitate to disband children's activities if they violate the rules and ethics," said Riza in a statement in Jakarta, Friday, July 22.
