Kunto Aji Releases Greetings To Longing, A Warm Song To Dive Into Family Memories

JAKARTA - Solo singer Kunto Aji greets Indonesian music lovers again through his latest work entitled Salam Pada Rindu, which invites listeners to explore memories with family.

"I dedicate this song to my family," said Kunto Aji in a press statement received on Monday, July 11.

"Family here has a broad meaning, because in my opinion, family is not only people who are blood related but also the people we choose in our lives. They are the people who are closest to us," he continued.

Furthermore, he believes that family is a part that will always be in his heart and soul. So, he felt, when he was away from his family, a sense of longing for the warmth he felt in that family also emerged.

Not only written by Kunto Aji, for this song, he also took part as a producer with Afif Gifano and Pandji Akbari.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Kamga also helped as vocal director as well as backing vocals, while the mixing process was done by Ano Stevano and mastering by Dimas Pradipta.

Released in the form of a music video first, Kunto Aji said this was his work with Astra Life which was made with Ceritera.

Interestingly, this song is 6 minutes long. According to Kunto Aji, he wanted to express the feelings that arise when someone remembers their family through this song.

"When talking about family, the memories must be various, there are sweet or bitter. Even though it is more sweet," said Kunto Aji.

"So, in this song, I try to capture it with all the ups and downs like when we are with our families because I want to capture all the emotions associated with family memories," he added.

Meanwhile, Salam Pada Rindu will be able to be heard by music lovers on all digital music platforms starting on July 21, 2022.
