Supporting The Awakening Of The Creative Economy, Mount Bromo Jazz Comes Again

JAKARTA - The Jazz Mountain music event is back. This time, Bromo is the opening act for the Jazz Gunung Series which will be held at the Jiwa Jawa Resort Amphitheater, Probolinggo, East Java on July 22-23.

A number of performers have been prepared, including the Blue Fire Project feat. Achmad Albar and Ian Antono, Pusakata, Duo Weeger, Irsa Destiwi & Nesia Ardi, SweetSwingNoff, Ring of Fire Project feat. Jogja Hiphop Foundation, Andien, Gilang Ramadhan Komodo Project, Andre Dinuth, and Aditya Ong.

Jazz Mount Bromo has become one of the National Calendar of Events from the ministry of tourism and creative economy (Kemenparekraf). Even in a pandemic, this festival has proven to be able to adapt and have a meaningful impact on its ecosystem. In 2020 and 2021, respectively, the Mount Ijen Jazz and Mount Bromo Jazz are held as a series of Jazz Gunung Series by following strict health protocols.

Meanwhile, the 2022 Mount Bromo Jazz will be proof of the revival of Indonesian tourism as well as the revival of the national economy.

This event will be held with an audience capacity that has returned to normal, namely 2000 people but still with health protocols according to applicable regulations.

This year, the implementation of the Mount Bromo Jazz will enter its 14th year and next year it will begin to be held in various other mountain areas. Samosir (North Sumatra), Mount Burangrang (Bandung), Mount Slamet (Semarang), and several mountains in other cities will be the next Jazz Mountain stops.
