Recently, Iko was reported to have beaten an interior designer at the Bekasi Police. The police said that the case started with the victim who asked for money as payment for interior design services.

"Initially, Iko Uwais's brother used the victim's interior design service. To build his house in Cibubur," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Monday, June 13.

Before the beating took place. Iko Uwais then asked the witness to contact the reported party to revise the interior design. However, instead of completing the revision, the reported person insulted Audy, Iko Uwais' wife.

"Instead of completing the revision, the reported party even mentioned that the victim's wife (Iko Uwais) used a genie and a boar, which was conveyed to the witness and also the reporting household member and the reported household member," he said.

Next, Iko Uwais with his wife, Audy, and his partner, Firmansyah, approached the victim. They also had a fight. In the end, there was a beating.

Iko Uwais' lawyer, Leonardus Sagala said that it was a form of Iko Uwais' defense. The reason is, Firmansyah was attacked first by the man so Iko didn't want to stay silent.

Apart from this problem, Iko Uwais is known as a husband who protects his wife. In 2018, Iko directly rebuked netizens who called Audy fat.

At that time, Audy had just become pregnant and gave birth, Audy Item's body also underwent a change to become bigger. When Audy Item did a live broadcast on her personal Instagram, Audy replied to a netizen's comment calling her fat.

"Ndat, ndut, ndat, ndut, yes I'm fat, what's wrong?" said Audy, July 5, 2018.

Hearing his wife's words, Iko Uwais who was sitting behind him reacted. The movie star Merantau then gave a pretty striking statement.

"Mas, Uncle, Aunt, Mba... whatever the shape, fat, skinny, slim, beautiful, ugly, face or body shape, the important thing is to have faith," answered Iko.

In addition, Iko Uwais never forced Audy to work. It is known that Audy still fills several singing stages but is not as active as before.

“Iko said, 'You're just singing as a hobby, not looking for money. Because Iko is looking for money'” said Audy Item, launching the Warta Kota channel.

"I'm more into a hobby now if I sing," he continued.
